Playing for the Big Apple

While taking a break from writing custom research papers for all my boring subjects in school, I shoot some hoops with my friends in the local basketball court. I still have a sharp set of skills that enables me to hold my won against younger and faster kids out there. But when my schedule is too tight, I just watch all the games that I could on sports channels in cable television.

I heard that the lockout is about to end soon and that is why I am really excited for the holiday games for the best teams in the NBA. I am rooting all the way for the New York Knicks especially now that they have risen from the ashes as championship contenders once again. And they are finally close to getting that missing piece to the puzzle that will give him the ultimate over all the other teams out there.

The Knicks are trying to land Chris Paul and CP3 have shown great interest in playing alongside his close friend Carmelo Anthony. With Amare Stoudamire dominating down low and Chauncey Billups torching the nets from the outside with the other sharpshooting guards, I think that the New York Knicks is the team to beat this season. And I am rooting all the way for them in their quest for that elusive championship trophy.
